Activities

The forum aims to:

• Strengthen connections between the World Bank Group Gender Action Plan and private sector leaders from around the world to promote economic opportunities for women
• Provide exemplary role models to act as Ambassadors for the World Bank Group Gender Action Plan through strengthening their own organizations' support for women's economic empowerment
• Provide opportunities for exchange and discussion, share best practices and lessons, and private sector examples of gender equality as smart economics
• Convene annually
• Encourage others to emulate global best practices and engage in initiatives consistent with the mission and goals of the World Bank Group Gender Action Plan
