Member Background
Eduardo Belmont is one of the leading business entrepreneurs in Latin America. He started his own cosmetics company during the 1980s and in less than 20 years expanded into 14 additional markets and created a multibrand corporation, Belcorp. While maintaining the spirit of a family business, he has gained recognition as an advocate for innovation, inspiring others through his example to constantly challenge themselves and exceed their own expectations.
Eduardo Belmont received his BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. On his return to Peru, he joined the family business as a distributor of beauty brands. His vision to expand beyond the local market led him to create his own cosmetics company. Since then, Belcorp has established itself as one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of beauty products in Latin America. Besides being the Chairman and CEO of Belcorp, Eduardo actively contributes to society through Belcorp´s Foundation, whose purpose is to awaken and build women's capabilities for a better future through education, professional training, and emotional and psychological support. Eduardo is currently also serving as a member of the board of Interbank, Peru's fourth largest financial institution.
